FAQ
- Are my audio files uploaded to a server?
- No. Trimming and deleting sections run entirely in your browser with the Web Audio API. Your files never leave your device.
- What is the difference between trim and delete?
- Trim keeps only the selected range and discards the rest. Delete removes the selected range and joins the remaining head and tail.
- What formats are supported?
- MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, AAC, FLAC, and WebM audio — anything your browser can decode.
- What format is the edited file?
- WAV (16-bit PCM). WAV keeps full quality without needing a heavy encoder download. Convert it to MP3 afterwards if you need a smaller file.
- Is there a size limit?
- Yes: 100 MB per file. Files longer than 30 minutes are rejected to protect browser memory.
