Is my image uploaded anywhere?
No. Icons render entirely in your browser with the Canvas API. Your source image never leaves your device.
What files do I get?
favicon.ico (16/32/48px embedded), PNG icons at 16, 32, 48, 180 (apple-touch-icon), 192 and 512px (PWA), plus a manifest.webmanifest and an HTML snippet to paste into your <head>.
What image should I start from?
A square PNG with a simple shape on a solid or transparent background, at least 512×512px. Non-square images are center-cropped to a square automatically.
How do I install the files?
Copy the files to your site root, paste the snippet into your <head>, and redeploy. Browsers cache favicons aggressively — hard-refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R) to see changes.
