FAQ

Is my QR content uploaded to a server?
No. QR codes render entirely in your browser. Nothing you type ever leaves your device.
How does the Wi-Fi QR work?
It encodes your network name, password, and security type in the standard WIFI: format. Guests scan it with their phone camera to join without typing the password. Your password stays on your device — it is only inside the QR image you download.
How does the Vietnam bank transfer QR work?
It builds a VietQR (EMVCo/NAPAS) payload with your bank BIN, account number, optional amount, and a diacritics-free description. Any Vietnamese banking app can scan it to pre-fill the transfer. Amount is optional — leave it empty for a static QR where the sender enters the amount.
How do vCard, phone, email, and SMS QR codes work?
vCard encodes a contact (name, phone, email, organization) that phones offer to save. Phone encodes a tel: link that dials on scan. Email encodes a mailto: link with optional subject and body. SMS encodes an SMSTO: payload that opens the messaging app with the number and message pre-filled.
Why is there a contrast warning?
Phone cameras need strong contrast between the code and its background. Dark-on-light (e.g. black on white) scans most reliably.
What do the error-correction levels mean?
Higher levels (Q, H) keep the code scannable even if partly damaged or obscured, at the cost of a denser pattern. H is the default — best for logos and printing.
Can I add a logo to my QR code?
Yes. Upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP logo (under 5 MB) and it is drawn centered at 15–30% of the QR size with a white rounded background. Error correction is raised to H automatically, but always test-scan with your phone before printing.
What size should I download?
256px is fine for screens, 512px for documents, 1024px for print. Larger sizes stay sharp when scaled.
